Russia to resume air travel with Iceland, Malta, Mexico May 25

MOSCOW, May 17 (PRIME) -- Russia will resume air travel with Iceland, Malta, Mexico, Portugal, and Saudi Arabia from May 25, a spokesperson for the government’s response center for prevention of the spread of coronavirus told reporters late on May 14.

“Russia is resuming air travel with Iceland, Malta, Mexico, Portugal, and Saudi Arabia. (Deputy Prime Minister) Tatyana Golikova held a meeting of the response center for the prevention of the importation and spread of a new coronavirus infection in Russia,” the statement said.

The center also said that Russia will raise the number of regular flights with South Korea, Finland, and Japan from May 25.

Russia will also resume international flights from airports of Omsk, Syktyvkar, Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, and Ulan-Ude from May 25.
